For replacement parts with true Fender® authenticity, look no further. Fender features a wide variety of high-quality vintage-style and contemporary guitar tuning machines to keep your instrument’s tuning stability in check.
Fender 70’s tuning machines are designed exclusively for headstocks with a 10.1mm (.397″) tuner bore — the bore size specific to Fender’s 70’s-era spec necks. The classic “F” logo is stamped directly into each die-cast housing for an authentic vintage look. Each tuner ships with a chrome-plated brass press-fit bushing that seats into this bore with a light interference fit, providing a stable bearing surface for the string post.
Fits: Vintera / Vintera II 70’s series, American Vintage II 70’s models, Classic Series 70’s (Mexico), and original American Vintage 70’s (US) models — or any neck with a 10.1mm (.397″) tuner bore and 2-screw rear mounting pattern.
Does NOT fit: Vintage-spec necks (8.7mm bore), American Professional / Player / Performer series (10mm bore with 2-pin locking-style mount), or any headstock drilled for modern sealed tuners with front-mount hex nut. These tuners use a dedicated bushing diameter and mounting pattern that is not interchangeable with other Fender tuner systems.
